When up to Weaver yesterday. Can't report on the fishing as I couldn't find a place to park. The place was a zoo!
Move down the hill to Grace. There were already a couple of guys on the lake when I got there. There was a small May fly hatch happening at the time. By the time I got on the water I was catching the tail end of it. Got one very nice 16" good fighting and jumping bow before the hatch ended. The heat of the day then shut everything down. I spent the next couple of hours trying everything, including trolling leaches deep. Got a couple of nibbles. Its amazing how things changed. From fish breaking the water regularly to not a fish seen for hours.
