Just wondering if anyone knows if the gate is open to Weaver lake, or if anyone would have some suggestions of a good close lake to Abbotsford that would be worth taking my little 12' aluminium on tomorrow??? I was thinking weaver or woods lake, but something closer wouldn't hurt since it will just be for a couple of hours

You need the key to get into weaver right now. Go see Randy at the Chehalis campground before the bridge and he will set you up with the key for weaver or woods at a 20 dollar deposit that you will get back at return of the key. Was at weaver last friday and saturday and did sweet all around 10 -14 inches

I heard that there was a bunch of logs jamming up the boat launch. Anyone know if that is true?

There is but you can move them out of the way if you have oars in about 5-10 min. If you don't have oars I see it being pretty tough to get out.

or just hope the wind blows in the other direction. these logs always seem to be floating around, i have seen them plugging up the far end of the lake in the afternoon and in the morning you can't get out of the boat launch. i wish they'd just pull them out for firewood when they're at the launch. end of problem. :thumbup:
