Sorry about the title CK - I couldn't resist! Anyway, hit the Vedder today and it was very busy! Fished the lower first light and managed to hook a few coho, springs, and one chum. Kept this beauty hatchery buck:

Btw - I love it when the hook is right on the tongue! NO QUESTION here - the fish took it! Anyway, when the sun came up the bite was pretty much over. Fun morning though. Decided to hit the upper river for the afternoon and fished a few nice holes - but no takers.

Thanks FF! Hey jetboatjim - sorry, but no that was not me. I never pack extra rods with me as I hate carrying all that gear around. Also can't leave anything of value in the vehicle. So it's either fly or gear for me. Too bad I don't live out there like some people - right FF?

Nice fish Aaron. Funny thing is, now that I'm a stone's throw away, I find I'm partaking in other fisheries more of the time than what is going on on the Vedder. :

Cheers Robert! I will start tying up some chum stingers for the Squish! Only one issue for me. I've got a 6 - 8 pounder arriving soon and I'm not referring to a coho! :happy:
