Reading the comments was priceless, the funniest thing is they didn't believe the story.
If only they had seen the fish I have surface in the river they would realize my fish was much smaller than what lurks out there.
I once did a helicopter flyover the Harrison in the fall, I saw what looked like logs underwater, but they were Sturgeon.

The guys at work didn't believe it either :confused: so I had to print out the post you made with the pictures, of course in colour, and show them.

My buddy and I were fishing the mouth of a Harrison Lk creek a long time ago for sea runs and watched with amazement as
massive sturgeon were absolutely flying out of the water and crashing down just like a killer whale does.

Never seen it again. They were a long way off shore and STILL 10-12ft I would say.
Unreal.

So what was the length and girth? Rod don't you have any pictures of this fish?
