just got back from another trip . I fished Martell on the S. thompsom and 2lb rainbow was nice,as I whent to release it the fish long line released yyyyyaaaaaaaaaaa(thank god for barblessssssssssssss ) as I was getting ready to cast again I look down and, WHAT THE its a sockeye.I whent up to salmon arm and fished the lake and river >On the way back i drove to scotch creek stopping at Adams river and wow Nov. 16 and tons of the red devils.Is this somthing that happens every 4 yrs or all the time and am i the newbie seeing it for the first time. ps dont laugh to hard

not fresh by any means . They did have crisp fins.Do not get me wrong about this I have fished for 30yrs I just have never seen these wonderful fish this late or low in the system .and I do not want to Piss any of the pros off .Anyway tight lines everyone I'm just glad to be back

Well your not gonna piss me off but they have always been there when I'm fishing in mid to late November for trout down low. Not always in big numbers but you always hook the odd one trying to get through to the rainbows!
