on my way to the ved this morning listening to some tunes on 92.9 bellingham station i think.....anyway some guy relating a recent fish story that him and the radio dj's thought was so cool.......he was stopped at a gas station and tied to a car belonging to a first nations fellow was a two and a half foot sturgeon.......now this has nothing to do with the guy being FN ....the ignorance of everyone involved here just blew me away......they were amazed that one of these prehistoric monsters was still around there area yet they thought it was so neat that this guy killed one and had it tied to his car.....anyone have any idea what the laws are across the line......i would be surprised if they were not similar to ours :pissed:

Yeah you can keep Sturgeon out of the Columbia river in the U.S.. Pretty sad, considering that Fraser river fish have been tracked into that system.

I was on my way to the river this morning when I was rear ended in my car.
I got out and the driver thet rear ended me was walking toward me and lo and behold he was a dwarf.
He said i'm not happy---and I said--so which one are you?

There used to be about 8 different species of sturgeon spread across the land. Now we have White, Green, Shovelnose, and I believe there are a few black sturgeon kickin about.

Thanks fishin30, if that was a response to my question. To be more specific though...
The white sturgeon is still classified as an endangered species right? If they are, are they really all that endangered?
It seems like there are still quite a lot around from the reports that people write.
