Will be heading over this winter and would like to pontoon the Stamp. Interested in safe put in / take out info and how long a trip it is from a to b etc.Thanks, Ortho

I have gone from the gun range to paper mill dam park three times, pulling out the pontoon boat before the chute at paper mill and carrying the boat across the rocks on the opposite side from the park and then going back across. We experienced some good fishing for coho and springs, all three trips were in October. I know of others who have gone further upstream and took their boats through the bucket, I am not that brave considering that the guy at Gone Fishin in Courtenay told me that he knows of at least a half dozen Island locals that have dumped their boats going through the bucket.
