Just an observation. There are 945 hits on the tofino post that shows pictures of caught salmon and only 45 hits on the wild salmon alliance. If we don't stop open net fish farming there will not be any wild salmon to catch and take pictures of. I think it is our duty as fishermen to join as many clubs and alliances to put a stop to this destruction of our environment and ensure that our future will have many more photos of our epic fishing adventures. Write your MLAs!!!!

we5,you are right that salmon farming is another nail in the coffin of salmon.....but is the urbanization and destruction of the fraser valley any less devastating.??? 2 million people driving around ,with houses on wet lands,living farther out the valley (for the good life)then driving to the city to work...pi.sing in the fraser river because its a cheap sewer system!! i,ve seen the change in the valley in the last 50 yrs.... the far west coast is actually getting more remote now as the towns and rural industries close..good luck, i know you mean well..but first aid starts at home.. dale eace:
