It was still closed yesterday. The lot is covered in 4" of silt with 3" of mosquitoes on top of that.
There must be someone in BC Parks we could ask. The launch is called Deroche Regional Park Boat Launch, at least thats what it says on the seasons pass I paid $50 for last year. I think the E-mail address for the Regional Parks Manager was posted in a discussion RE: Island 22 and its closures. Maybe we should all rattle his cage!

Sorry .... but Wingdam is not the same as the Dewdney Regional Park.
Last information I had was that it would remain closed due to vandalism until they can find a full time attendant. Guess the poor guy would have to live in a trailer there.
