Anyone fished Wolfe and Grace this year yet? I'm heading out soon to these destinations as the other nearby lake is closed up until April 1st. I'll post after I get back this weekend.

Thanks for the info.

Fished at Grace Lake from 9-11:30 with no success. There were chronies hatching on the surface but not significant. We saw no fish rising and in talking with another guy he said that he's never caught a fish at Grace Lake. As a consequence we did not fish Wolfe Lake.

After Grace we headed up to Wood Lakeand fished from 12:30 to 3:30 with little success. I mean I figured it out late in the day and landed 3 fish but it was not an obvious fly pattern to try for this time of year.

A great day out on the lakes in my float tube. I'm looking forward to May.

my dad and i have had great days fishing chronomid and casting black spratly's

we find black with white or silver ribs works for us we'll prolly be out there in the next month to try our luck anyhow

one thing about Grace is that the fish are all pretty small 12" is a good size for that lake i think our record for Grace was 14"

Wolf i agree dont even bother i honestly think there is nothing in that lake anymore for some reason i mean we used to go there when i was a kid and get lots trolly flashers and worms but you dont even see them rising anymore like you used to

we have talked with some people from time to time that are camping and fishing there and they say " nothing" as well

hope this helps
